Pipers Farm: Meat The Natural Way

Our drumsticks are meaty, tender and substantial. They are not just for picnics and barbecues.
On a cold day, when a hot meal is wanted, they are excellent for a quick roast.

Score the skin and put on a rack in a
roasting tin. Season with a pinch of salt,
freshly ground black pepper, sprigs of
fresh thyme, lemon zest and a squeeze
of lemon juice.

...and the skin is crisp and golden.


Roast in a hot oven, 200ºC, until the
juices run clear...
