    • Pipers Farm is a unique concept. Our aim is to produce meat of the best quality presented in the most user-friendly way.

Pipers Farm began because we are both farmers, we love working with livestock, we love the beautiful Devon countryside around us and we love to eat good food.

To produce meat that is fabulous to eat, we went back to the time-honoured traditional ways of rearing animals, slowly, on natural diets, in natural conditions so that they reach natural maturity. Only then do you achieve marbling through the meat, and real texture and flavour.

    • We use a small abattoir, based on a local family farm, and hang all our meat on the bone in the traditional manner, here at Pipers Farm.

At the perfect moment, our small team of skilled butchers cut, pack and blast-freeze the meat in free-flow packs for the ultimate customer convenience. This holds the well-hung meat in perfect condition until you are ready to use it.

    • Our family farmers are from Devon and Somerset, here in the Culm Valley, on Dartmoor and Exmoor and the Somerset Levels. Each farm has a main enterprise - milking cows, growing potatoes, growing cider apples . . . . . . The livestock they grow for Pipers Farm is an "add-on" enterprise. We have farmers' wives growing our chickens, so earning an income from the farm and maintaining the family farming unit. And we have farmers' sons rearing our pigs, so enabling them to return to the family farm with a secure income.
